What is declared in the annual return?

The Austrian annual return primarily summarizes the preliminary returns submitted for the year.

The previously declared net turnovers are reported at the respective tax rate and the settled payments are entered. If the payments differ from the reported amounts, a subsequent payment or refund is determined.

Do we prepare the annual return for you?

We'll send you the annual return for Austria with sufficient time before the deadline if:

• We have completed at least the return for Q4 or December in the previous year for you, and;
• You will be a Taxdoo client at least until the end of April of the current year.

When is the deadline for the annual return?

The deadline for the annual return in Austria is 30 April of the current year.

How is the annual return in Austria Submitted? 

1. Please print out the declaration in color and sign at the bottom of page 3 (to the right of the date).

2. Send the signed declaration to Austria by post to the address listed in the PDF.
