In order for our local partners in the UK to be able to file your local VAT returns, they will need to be given secondary access to your HMRC online account.
You can log in to your HMRC online account using the following link:
https://www.gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services
The access data consists of a 10-digit User ID and a password. If you do not have these access data, you will need to contact your previous provider to obtain them.
You can find out how to create secondary access using the instructions down below.
1. Navigate to the "Manage Account" tab at the top of the screen
2. Scroll down to the “Account access” section and click “Add or delete a team member”
3. Click on "Add team member"
4. Enter the following and click “Continue”
- Full name: Alan Rhode
- Email address: uk@taxmen.eu
- What is their role?: Administrator
5. Click on "Confirm"
6. Click on "Continue"
7. Navigate again to the “Manage Account” tab at the top of the screen
8. Scroll down to the “Account access” section and click on “Give a team member access to a tax duty or scheme”
9. Select the newly added account
10. Click on "Manage taxes and schemes"
11. Tick the “Select or deselect all taxes” and “Submit VAT Returns” boxes and click on “Save”
12. Click on "Return to list of team members"
13. Our local partners will then receive an email announcing the new user ID with which they can log into your HMRC account.
Important: In order for our local partners to be able to log in, it is necessary that the temporary password is manually forwarded to our partners by email within 24 hours due to its limited validity. Please use the email address: uk@taxmen.eu
